These look nice and fit very comfortably. I love that they are high wasted enough to cover my belly button. I took off one star because the string can get twisted in the wash and could be difficult to untwist it and the string is quite visible and easily seen through the waist band.

More of an outdoor/ hiking short than running short. It's very long and fits loose and I had some weird gaping at the back as the shorts were too big. They run large so I would definitely size down and then maybe they would fit more like the photos. These shorts are very definitely a high rise and not a mid rise like it says. Overall if you size down I think they are a fantastic pair of casual shorts but maybe not the best for intense workouts.
